Maintenance Improvement
This is achieved through the integration of several programs that are complementary to each other and result in high uptime, with minimized unavailability of the facilities. MTPL approach all production facilities with the following as paramount in importance.
  1. Quality of Product
  2. Availability of Plant
  3. Capacity of Plant
  4. Cost of Operations
These four factors are recognized as the main factors required to Optimize any facility operation and add VALUE to the business enterprise.

Operations Procedures -The operations procedures are required to describe in detail a) the system operation, b) the specific equipment operation. The procedures include ALL the required safety practices, normal operation, abnormal operation, and consequences of miss-operation.

Plant Start Up/Shutdown -A great percentage of plant mishaps (65%) occur while the plant is in transition. Therefore, Start Up Conditions as well as the Shut Down procedures for safely shutting down the plant are produced.

Maintenance Procedures -Maintenance procedures are linked to the Operating procedures and Safety requirements. The procedures detail maintenance strategy for each system and equipment. It is the combination of the correct and useful Preventive Maintenance procedures and Inspection Programs that lead to an optimized operation. The selected procedures are based on Reliability and Criticality of the Equipment and Systems. The level and cost of spare parts is optimized using Reliability and Criticality as a basis for selection.

Computerized MaintenanceManagement System -The key component to a successful O&M system is the management and control of essential information. A Computerized Maintenance Management System(CMMS) fulfils this requirement.

MTPL has the experience in O&M and CMMS to ensure a properly implemented system is in place. This tool will assist in ensuring that all equipment and system activities are recorded and the planning tools utilized to ensure optimum activities are achieved. The MTPL Maintenance Planning program will properly control and optimize the maintenance operation
