Maintenance Programs
MTPL has developed for various clients 'state of the art' maintenance programs. The basic philosophy is one where a suite of programs is selected and tailored for the greatest value to the client. Simply, every plant is different, and to optimize on process, and location, many factors are taken into account.
Therefore, a maintenance program for your plant may include the following:
- Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) where all records are kept, activities recorded and the prime database for other integrated programs. MTPL works with a variety of CMMS programs of the owner's choice.
- Risk Based Inspection (RBI) program, where all static equipment is assessed and data based to provide the owner with a maximized inspection program that results in the least amount of 'hands on' maintenance work.
- Condition Based Maintenace (CBM) program. The CBM program forms the basis of all Remaining Useful Life (RUL) analysis. It also provides the input to the optimized
Maintenance Planning System. The program embraces all aspects of Condition Monitoring, vibration, sonics, tribology, thermo, and ultrasonics. While basically for rotating equipment,
we are now using the program for all aspects of the physical assets. It is used for all disciplines of maintenance from civil structure, piping systems, static mechanical equipment and rotating equipment.
- Remaining Useful Life (RUL) has become of prime importance to owners of older plant. It is valuable to determine the likely 'end of life' time and the likelihood of reaching that point. From this data, a company is able to make sound investment decisions and commit sustainable output. MTPL uses a suite of approaches to reach this point including historical data, Bayesian statistics, Markov Chain Monte Carlo analysis and other proprietary programs to test the data and hypotheses.
- MTPL Maintenance Planning programs of course work very closely with the CMMS and all other inspection and condition monitoring programs. Maintenance work is minimized and prioritized to provide the most effective work program.
