Fundamental in the assessment of optimization of Operation and Maintenance program is to conduct a Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, Safety (RAMS) assessment. The company is licensed by Advantica to use their proprietary RAMS simulation software OPTAGON ©. The company also enjoys the full support of this program from Advantica and is positioned to undertake all sizes of RAMS studies.
Reliability is the key parameter for a safe and successful operating plant. MTPL is capable of assessing your existing facilities, as well as planned or “in design facilities”. We maintain a large database of failure rates and modes as well as realistic repair and logistic times, all crucial to a comprehensive RAMS study and recommendations.
These RAM studies are based on Monte Carlo modeling of the process system whereby the output will result in a complete analysis of the operating plant, including all weak equipment and systems, provide input to develop a maintenance strategy, spare parts strategy and identify short comings in procedures and training.
Equally important to the mechanical assessment of the process sytem is the analysis of the Business Side of the operating facility. It is extremely important to undertake a peer review of the facility and determine the placing of the plant in all areas of maintenance and operation as compared to peer companies in the same industry or industry group.
