Reliability Programs
Reliability is perhaps a very over-worked word where we really mean Availability. It is Availability that adds the value to a company's business plan. After all, there is no requirement for large capital expenditures accompanying long construction time etc.
MTPL encourages owners to adopt and undertake reliability improvement programs that will provide the greatest added value to the company. This may take the form of process plant analysis of plant downtime or an overall evaluation and comparison with Peer Groups in the industry. Which ever program is most suited to the owner's agenda there will result significant improvements in overall plant availability.

The quantitative modeling analysis using Monte Carlo simulation techniques are used system wide, plant wide, and at component level analysis. The main program used is under License from Advantica and is the world class OPTAGON. This program has been used in many offshore designs as well as onshore production facilities. MTPL has a track record of studies completed both for on shore and off shore installations.
The business side of a RAM study is conducted under the 3M program of Solomon Associates. Solomon Associates need no introduction in the Oil and Gas and Petrochemical fields as they have conducted benchmarking studies in Industry for over 75 years.
